FIFA:Swiss authorities freeze bank assets as part of Petrobras investigation Recorder Standard

Millions of Swiss francs in bank accounts belonging to world soccer's governing body Fifa have been frozen, the Swiss justice ministry has said.
US officials believe "corruption money" may have been transited through the frozen accounts, the ministry said.
Between 50m and 100m Swiss francs ($50.1m-100.2m; £34m-£67m) has been frozen, media reports say.

Hours after chat app Whatsapp was blocked in Brazil, on orders of a Sao Paulo judge, Facebook co-founder and CEO (Facebook owns Whatsapp) Mark Zuckerberg posted a public note, calling the blockade a "sad day for Brazil."
"Until today, Brazil has been an ally in creating an open internet. Brazilians have always been among the most passionate in sharing their voice online," he wrote on his Facebook profile.
The block, which started on Thursday, at midnight local time, is scheduled to be in effect for 48 hours

The prayer was for Knox Stine (right), a two-month-old who was found unresponsive in Arizona and is fighting for his life in hospital. Prestyn heard about Knox from his grandmother, who is in a prayer group, and decided to ask for Santa's help. A photo of the two down on their knees praying has since gone viral.
