Former Nigeria head coach Samson Siasia has expressed his readiness to manage the Super Eagles if approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.
Siasia was relieved of his job after failing to qualify the country for the 2012 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations staged in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

Remarkable! President Jonathan honors Nigerian flag designer, puts him on lifetime salary!

The man who designed the Nigeria flag, Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi was decorated as an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic, OFR, by President Jonathan today September 29th, 55 years after designing the flag.
He wasn't only given an award today, president Jonathan also said he will be placed on a lifetime salary that must be in line with what any Senior Special Advisers earns. 
No other government before this government found Pa Akinkunmi worthy of a national award or a lifetime salary.  this is quite remarkable!So happy for him.

So sad! Amanda Bynes ARRESTED FOR Driving Under Influence of Drugs Weed Problem Resurfaces

Oh no!
Just when Amanda Bynes was getting her life on track, she gets arrested for another DUI!
According to reports, the California Highway Patrol arrested Amanda early Sunday morning, around 3 a.m. and brought her to the Van Nuys police station.
She was then booked with a misdemeanor for driving "under the influence of a controlled substance."
Amanda posted bail of $15,000 and was out just a bit after noon on Sunday.
Amanda is still on probation for her 2012 DUI charge, so we're not sure how that will affect this case. Guess we'll find out on October 23rd when Amanda is scheduled to appear in court.
So sad.

Kenyan born athlete Kimetto sets marathon world record

News reaching us reveals that,Kenya's Dennis Kimetto has broken the marathon world record in Berlin, winning the race in a time of two hours, two minutes and 57 seconds.
The 30-year-old shook off fellow Kenyan Emmanuel Mutai with just under three miles remaining to become the first man to run a marathon in less than two hours and three minutes.

Jennifer Lopez Nailed By Drunk Driver

JLo and Leah Remini are MADD ... because they got rear ended by a drunk driver .. 
Law enforcement sources revealed .. Leah, who was driving JLo's car with the singer and 2 kids, were riding along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when they stopped at a light.   We're told a driver in a small pickup hi"t them from behind and then took off.
Either JLo or Leah called 911 ... describing the driver and the pickup.  Deputies raced to the scene and found the driver a short distance away, determined he was driving under the influence and arrested him for DUI and hit and run.
No apparent injuries ... but whiplash pain is often delayed by a few days.
JLo posted this Saturday ... "Sitting at a light.  Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!!  Thank god everyone ok.
