Ghanaians from all walks of life -irrespective of their political affiliation or social status - are expected to partake in this rare event at 5pm Thursday. Chairman of the National Council on Persons with Disability, Andrew Nii Okaikoi, who is organising the event, told Myjoyonline.com that the idea is to "celebrate Ghana's constitutional era and to show the world our maturity on democratic front". He remarked that he is of high conviction that Ghana will be the winner after today's ruling, hence the need for all to show that Ghanaians are one and also peace-loving people. |
