Over 100 passengers of Aero Contractors aircraft that flew from Lagos to Enugu on Thursday without their luggage have threatened to drag the airline to court for alleged breach of contract.
Some of the passengers who were to travel to other South Eastern states after arriving the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Thursday afternoon said they were stranded in the coal city for about 24 hours with some of them wearing one dress for almost two days.
The passengers said they were highly disappointed by the attitude of the airline's staff in Enugu for failing to give any explanation regarding their inability to convey the luggage along with the passengers, stressing that the act was against standard practices by airline operators.
Former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme and former gubernatorial aspirant in Anambra State, Dr. George Okpagu and Justice D. T. Okunobi were among the passengers on board. Only about ten luggages belonging to Dr. Ekwueme and other Business Class passengers were conveyed by the aircraft while those belonging to those in the Economy Class were left behind in Lagos.By The Citizen.Details....
