for some time now,This talk of granting amnesty to Boko Haram has been on for a long while and a lot of Nigerians are not in support of it.
However, it''s been made known recently that,President Jonathan is ready to grant amnesty to any of the sect member who surrenders and embrace peace.
It was during the National Democracy Day programme that the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Boni Haruna revealed this new plan.
so far,There are series of integration programmes that have been planned for any Boko Haram who would do what the once terrorizing Niger Delta militant did when they dropped arms for peace.
The government is calling on every Boko Haram member who may be in any part of the country to quickly surrender and join in this project.
During the terror era of the Niger Delta militant, the government had introduced such programme and over 300, 000 youths from the Niger Delta region have benefited from it.
Today, these militants have become employers of labor and are doing
great in their various careers.
