Its clear that Mrs Folorunsho Alakija doesn’t need introduction, her wealth has made her famous as one of the world’s richest black women. We have heard that she is in the oil business but she started from somewhere and i'm 100% sure that most of us have not being able to hear her story about this business.here's her story from some one very close to her;
according to source,Mrs Alakija never planned to join the oil business, but through info by a good friend who at the time, contacted her and told her that some people wanted to buy crude and she was asked if she could make them purchase because they were foreigners.
Folorunsho had tried to do that but she was discouraged by the then minister and when she tried again, she still got the No answer, however, she is one lady who doesn’t take a ‘No’ for an answer. She began to ask a lot of questions and information started coming to her.
Her success didn’t last long because each time she was about making head way, the minister would be changed and she would see herself on the ground again after climbing the ladder.
the good thing is ,She finally got her oil license not until after she made a covenant with God that if He blesses her, she would serve him forever.
