When women stopped using chemical relaxers and flat irons to straighten their natural hair, they felt great that their tresses were finally getting the chance to breathe.
however they didn't expect that wearing their curls would result in the many unsolicited comments and opinions thrown their way by certain individuals.
So for those of you who know where they are coming from, or for those in need of the course "Black Hair Etiquette 101," here are things women with natural hair do not want to hear.*
"Are you mixed with something?"
"Can I touch?"
"Natural ain't for everybody."
"Is THAT how you're going outside?"
"How hard is it to comb your hair?"
"I'm surprised you can do so many styles with that hair."
"You won't get a boyfriend/girlfriend looking like that!"
"Did you get a haircut?"
"How do you sleep with all of that hair?"
..the point is,looking at the post,by no means does this list represent ALL women with natural hair, as we're sure every person's experiences are just as unique as their hair but the point is ..these are the ways women are be teased when wearing a certain hairstyle of which i'm sure you've experienced this before..
