 According to what we've just heard,we heard that,Popular teen drama “Pretty Little Liars” is also among the big winners in a California Film Commission lottery of tax credits disclosed this week, according to a published report.
The show, produced by Warner Horizon Television Inc., will receive
$8.4 million in tax credits for the 2014-15 fiscal year!
The commission holds a lottery every year to distribute $100 million in tax credits in a bid to attract and retain film and TV productions to the state. New York, Georgia and Louisiana operate similar programs, according to the report.
Other big winners in the lottery include “Teen Wolf,” from MTV Networks, which won $11.5 million in credits; “Rizzoli & Isles,” also from Horizon, which won $8.9 million in credits; and “All Summer Long – A Beach Boys Musical,” a feature film from Twentieth Century Fox, which won $7.7 million in credits.
The credits won’t be released until after the productions are completed and an audit confirms the qualifying funds were spent in California.
