3 Things You Didn't See on TV during MTV's VMAs 2014

VMA-Usher
It's hard to believe that there  are certain things that cannot be seen on the internet but was there, visible and available to Television, one of such experience was any action at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night that the Internet didn't see.
But, alas, here we are.

on the other hands,Being part of the audience is harder work than you might imagine, especially for the people on the ground in front of the main stage.  this is because,They have to muster enthusiasm after hours of standing, take direction during commercial breaks, and pretend to love every single act that comes on stage. (God forbid getting caught yawning or texting on the teleprompter.) Oh, and sometimes you have to dodge scary moving stages.
So a lot of effort is put into ensuring the audience was safe during tricky stage maneuvers. But there was a glitch: Usher's gliding stage proved a problem for at least one audience member, who tripped and fell between the moving stage and the stationery one. Luckily, a quick-thinking crew member heroically dodged between the stages and lifted the audience member off the ground before any real danger was present. Phew — that could have been scary.
Jim Carrey
As you might know (and, if not, sorry in advance for crushing your dreams), the words coming out of presenters' mouths are prewritten.especially that awkward exchange between Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev and Trey Songz during which he came off as a creeper. He was just reading the teleprompter.
But not everyone played by the rules. Jim Carrey improvised that joke about Coachella/Ebola, and he skipped a scripted line about Burning Man. Jeff Daniels attempted to get him back on track by mentioning Burning Man, but the bit continued to go off the rails and Daniels eventually went with the flow (until Carrey tripped and fell, that is). Meanwhile, Chelsea Handler skipped a joke about penises, and, despite her cringe-worthy "thank you for being so white" speech to Taylor Swift, the omission was probably for the better.
5 Seconds of Summer
As celebrities took their seats moments before the start of the show, T-Swift and and Katy Perry garnered more than a few excited shrieks from the crowds of humans in the pit in front of the stage. But the biggest screams? Those were saved for 5 Seconds of Summer, the Australian YouTubers turned MTV boy band. Part of the intense reaction may have been attributed to the fact that the crowd on the floor was comprised of 85% females between the ages of 18 and 21, per our unscientific estimates. Also, the guys are "dreamy," according to an unofficial poll of ladies in the bathroom.
