For a start, I would love to talk about something that affects every individual though on different levels. Ever at any time procrastinated before, have you ever postponed that assignment, work,call or text you could have put across immediately, have you ever delayed the purchase of a good,product or services due to your level of unseriousness and indiscipline, and just for you to get the good later one at a higher price or you even couldn’t get it no more reason being that this good is no longer in the market, how often do u wish you had done something differently or instantly?
It all started one day when i had to face the fact that i needed to replace my laptop due to its crashed hard drive issue, i talked about it with friends, knowing how much of a talkative i could be when in the mood. I later came to a conclusion, which was to get a new Acer product with its specifications meeting all my needs. I could have gone ahead immediately to purchase the lappy but still i didn’t, i would say i would get it next week and the following week, i repeat the same statement. While at that, i would Google the Lappy and keep looking at the images online like that was all i needed to do to get the lap top in my possession, and this went on for so long, almost five months to be precise.
Then the day came, when it was rumoured into my hearing that ‘my system’ was no longer on sale. “You must be joking “, that's all i could say. Instantly i remembered to start praying to God to reserve one for me in the market, little did i know that God was too busy to attend to prayers offered due to my own faults. I believed strongly i could get it Computer village in Lagos if not anywhere else but all was negative. Let me tell you, i actually traveled to three different states apart from communicating with friends on phone and the internet,all in the name of looking for my dream Lappy to buy. Goodness, i suffered big time, as a matter of fact, i hated myself for delaying the whole process, i spent more than necessary due the inflation on the fuel price as at that moment. Like it wasn’t enough, i equally got drained due to the down pour (rain).
Long story short, i wasn’t able to get my dream lap top but God saw i had suffered enough for my ‘sin’, guess that was why He made it possible for me to get another lap top closer to the one i actually dreamt of.
Well, lets say i was graced enough to get an alternative, think about it, what if it didn’t end up that way for me. I mean imagine the stress i went through, both physical and emotional. You are over there,reading this, you probably smiling, to you it’s just another story but hey, not so. I wouldn’t say i wish that you experience same, but learn from my mistakes be you a student in any institution of learning. I believe i can boldly talk about this with you now, because i have gone through the storm and i survived it, but of cause, not everyone might be able to survive this or something related to it.

Whatever you set your mind to, please, do so with immediate effect. You might not get such a golden opportunity again or perhaps the golden might have been replaced with ordinary stone.
You have something to do, do it. You have a place to go, get your cute self up and head out. You have a chance to say you love or appreciate somebody, then do so immediately. You have a flight to book, then book it right away. You have a book to read, then pick up the book and enjoy. You have an audition to go for, then get set, go. You have a business idea, then write it down,make it plain, plan how to bring the idea to a profitable state and then set out to act. Action makes ‘A difference’ but an immediate action at the appropriate time makes ‘THE difference’.
Get up, get going, let nothing stop you. As a matter of fact, nothing can stop you, until you give it the permission to do so. Remember, you are in charge of your life, not me, not your spouse,not your business associates, not your family members, not even the government but YOU.
