Nigeria Sport row 'over' as Giwa steps aside for Magari!....But, Did you know Nigeria's shock 3-2 loss to Congo in Calabar on Saturday??

Narrowly,African champions Nigeria look to have  wisely avoided an international ban as a row over the leadership of its football federation seems to have ended.
According to report,Chris Giwa looks to have given up his claim to be Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president in a move that coincides with a deadline set by FIFA.
The ultimatum was set last week for him to step aside or face a FIFA ban.God so kind,he obeyed! otherwise, a suspension could have led to Nigeria missing Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in South Africa.

The Confederation of African Football gave ultimatum last week that the Super Eagles would be kicked out of the 2015 qualifying campaign should they fail to play the fixture.
"The next step is according to fifa secretary in Abuja Nigeria,is  to have an extra-ordinary assembly that will set a date for elections for the new executive committee.adding that "this will not happen beyond 25 September, as directed by FIFA."

World football's governing body had reiterated last week that it did not recognise Giwa's election on 26 August and set a deadline of Monday 0700 GMT for him to step aside.
The latest development means the NFF board, as it was on 25 August, with Aminu Maigari as president, can now begin to plan for elections to be held as soon as possible.

Did you know,Nigeria's shock 3-2 loss to Congo in Calabar on Saturday in 2015 ??..
Africa Cup of Nations qualifying was their first competitive loss at home for 33 years. They lost the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations final to Cameroon in Lagos but that was on penalties.
In case you're not following,Nigeria were banned from global football for nine days in July for government interference in the running of the football federation when Maigari was forced out of his post by a court ruling.
