The spacecraft crashed during a test flight yesterday October 31st 2014 after suffering what the firm described as an "in-flight anomaly"
The twisted wreckage of Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic spaceship lies scattered across a desert landscape – leaving one pilot dead and another seriously injured.

The suborbital craft, called SpaceShipTwo, burst into flames and exploded during a test flight before plunging into the desert in California.
Another pilot was left with “major injury” after the disaster, Virgin said.
Eyewitnesses described how SpaceShipTwo exploded during the trial at the Mojave Air and Space Port in California.
Virgin said in on Twitter: “During the test, the vehicle suffered a serious anomaly resulting in the loss of SpaceShipTwo.
Hard luck bro!
