Fancy flying down a vertical crevice in the Alaskan wilderness at top speed, through a gap of just five or six feet at its narrowest, with a camera strapped to your head?
Us neither.But for daredevil skier Cody Townsend, 31, from California, who took to the Tordrillo Mountains, 75 miles northwest of Anchorage, the attempt was nothing more than a 30-second ride that went by “so fast – I wasn’t paying attention to anything that wasn’t directly in front of me”.
Townsend’s video of the student has already been viewed more than 2.3 million times since being uploaded three days ago.
