The Social Democratic Party, (SDP), says it is disappointed and worried over the abduction of its National Chairman Olu Falae describing it as a pointer to the lapses in Nigeria’s security network.
National Publicity Secretary of SDP, Abdul Isiaq told newsmen that the party is particularly disturbed by the lack of official statements from the presidency over the matter more that 24 hours after the incident.
He said the plight of Olu Falae an elder statesman who has contributed over forty years of his life to the service and development of his fatherland deserves national attention.
The social democratic party also appealed to the Nigeria police, and other well-meaning citizens to help in securing the release of its national chairman whom he described as a detribalized Nigerian elder statesman and philanthropist.
