Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Barbara Scheper heard arguments from attorneys on Sept. 17 on a motion by Drake’s attorney’s to throw out the lawsuit filed by plaintiff SpectiCast on free-speech grounds, then took the case under submission before issuing her ruling Tuesday. During the hearing, Scheper asked SpectiCast attorney Todd Bonder why the company did not seek more involvement from the “Best I Ever Had” singer before the film’s March release. (My News LA)
