A 60-year-old woman just admitted to keeping her 93-year-old mother's dead body for more than a year just to collect her Social Security checks!
Mary Kersting plead guilty in an Upstate New York court on Tuesday after Police say she kept over
$13,000 of her mom's pension money while keeping the corpse in her home.
Apparently, Hope Ruller died of natural causes in October 2013, but instead of calling the authorities, Mary came up with a plan to keep the body and make some money off the death.

It wasn't until December 2014 that a family member questioned the checks which lead to Mary's eventual arrest.
The matricide could get Mary six months in jail as she's being charged with grand larceny, disposal of a body, and endangering an elderly person.
