Getting your lipstick to last for more than a few hours without reapplying is an accomplishment in itself. And if you're drinking champagne, it's practically impossible to still have any rouge left on your lips once you put the glass down. But there is a simple way to enjoy bubbly and leave your lipstick intact.
Instead of guzzling champagne straight from the flute......sip it through a straw.
It's really that simple.
Other tricks to minimizing lipstick transfer and smudging: Avoid touching your lips with utensils while you're eating, and try not to blot your lips with a napkin too much.
