Patrick Schmidt, 29, lives in a DIY converted school bus. He drove from Las Vegas to Florida on a 10,000 mile journey this year and plans to continue his adventure across the United States next year. Prior to beginning his trip, Schmidt quit his job at a Seattle airport because he decided he wanted 'more out of life' and wanted to try to 'live tiny'. Schmidt, who goes by the handle Skoolielove on Twitter and Instagram, purchased the $4,500 bus (left) in March of this year in California and drove it to his parent's home in Las Vegas. With his dad's help, Schmidt converted the bus into a tiny 189-square-foot motorhome (right and inset) using materials purchased from DIY shops and online.
