The pretty swimmers can be seen twisting and turning through the water near Moorea in the South Pacific. A stingray's spine has jagged edges and a sharp point, which can produce a fatal venom, and Australian television personality Steve Irwin was killed after a stingray barb penetrated his chest while he was filming a documentary in 2006.
