Inspirational for all the young people on earth! Start with what you have by Sam Adeyemi
Book Review
One of Newton’s laws of motion states: “All objects remain in a state of rest until a force is applied.” These may be true of our aspirations in life. Things do not move until we move.
According to the author 'Action orientation is a major requirement for success' but the the major question for most people however is“: How do I start?” or where do I start from?” That is why I have written this book said the great mentor and world class leader; to help you overcome inertia and to get you moving in the direction of destiny. A job begun is a job half done end of quote!...
so like the author I will be fulfilled if after you have read this book, YOU START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE. for more details please follow this link > >
....beauty secrets for my African Queens, models and beauty pageants them...lol!
Among the Idomas, Tiv and Efiks, renowned for their culinary expertise, cocoanut rice is one delicacy that sure ranks alongside edikang ikong soup, afia efere, ekpangnkwo etc. It is actually the whitish oil that is made from fresh (raw) coconut meat, is cold-pressed, that used in the rice. Now, that’s tasty delicious meal.
However, coconut has several other usefulnesses both as an edible product and beauty enhancer.
"You don't need to be influenced by others to do what you wanted to do for a long time. world record-holder and former Olympic champion over 5 000 and 10 000 metres Bekele adviced...
Bekele, the world record-holder and former Olympic champion over 5 000 and 10 000 metres, believes he's overtaken his Ethiopian compatriot Gebrselassie when it comes to track, but there's still one more test: The marathon! The 31-year-old Kenenisa Bekele says he took up distance running because of the prodigious achievements of the great Haile Gebrselassie. But now wants to prove he's better than his idol and mentor even though he's following Gebrselassie's path by stepping up to the marathon....i think that's a big shot for bekele!...
According to him "If you want to compare, just take a look at the races I won and the medals I received," Bekele Boasted!..He argued that "Haile has run for a long time with a great achievement and I have got a huge respect for him. But ... no one has broken my (5 000 and 10 000 metres) records so far. I think it is clear that my achievement in those track races is better than any other athlete." Bekele bragged!....and went on to say that Gebrselassie's impressive legacy was his ability to succeed at distances ranging from 1 500 metres right up to the marathon. Now 40, Gebrselassie is still competitive.
It's clear that Bekele is eager to move out of the shadow of a man still regarded as Ethiopia's best, and one of the best ever. To do that, Bekele probably has to succeed in the marathon. He said he hadn't needed any advice from Gebrselassie over the move up.
in his own word he said"You don't need to be influenced by others to do what you wanted to do for a long time. I made this decision myself," Bekele said and confidently vowed to make his competitive debut over 26 miles (42 kilometres) at the Paris Marathon on April 6.Bekele has also targeted a meeting with Farah as another test of his status. They are the only two men to have held the Olympic and world 5 000 and 10 000 titles at the same time.

Charge Up and Tips To Create A Fat Burning Metabolism!..
A pretty woman of 55 began her lifestyle journey about a year ago. She wanted to lose weight and get healthier so she would be around to watch her beautiful granddaughters grow up and get married some day. By the time I began to consult with her, it was established that she needed to fix her metabolism.
Metabolism is the process by which your body converts what you eat and drink into energy. During this complex biochemical process, calories in food and beverages are combined with oxygen to release the energy your body needs to function. Even when you’re at rest, your body needs energy for all its “hidden” functions, such as breathing, circulating blood, adjusting hormone levels, and growing and repairing cells.
The number of calories your body uses to carry out these basic functions is known as your basal metabolic rate — what you might call metabolism. Several factors determine your individual basal metabolic rate:
Your body size and composition: The bodies of people who are larger or have more muscle burn more calories, even at rest.
Your sex: Men usually have less body fat and more muscle than do women of the same age and weight, burning more calories.
Your age: As you get older, the amount of muscle tends to decrease and fat accounts for more of your weight, slowing down calorie burning.
With this factors in mind there is need for serious work to boost your metabolic
Here are some ways that you can immediately start revving up your metabolism for the long run so that you can achieve and maintain your ideal weight for good!
•Get active by adding exercise to your weekly routine.
I know, there’s that dreaded word again – exercise. But people who add exercise to their weight loss plan tend to lose more weight in the same period of time as those who only diet.
With aerobic exercises you will be burning fat and calories and strength training will help build lean muscles. The more lean muscles you have the higher your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is and the more calories you will burn.
Try adding a least 30 minutes of some types of activities a day.
With just 30 minutes a day at least 3 or 4 times a week will have a positive impact on your metabolism. Not only will this rev up your metabolism naturally, you will feel more energized.
By adding high instense exercises like brisk walking, jogging and running sometimes, your metabolism can stay revved up to five times longer than with an easier workout. This form of exercise is known as interval training which does not only keep your metabolism going, but also build endurance.
You also need to stress your muscles to develop them. Use your body weight, use resistance bands, use machines, use dumbbells, or any other form of resistance. The key is impose weight bearing resistance against your body!
•Eat healthily
This is one metabolism boosters tip that many people don’t follow. You know the old saying, “food is medicine”! But do you know why?
Eating a good, healthy food gets your metabolism started. But you must not skip meals except while fasting. When you skip a meal, your metabolism slows down and your body’s natural defenses take over, storing fat and saving it for fuel when needed. Breakfast is very important.
So, think of breakfast as one of your metabolism boosters and eat. Remember, fat loss, good health and fantastic immune system are what you’re looking for and you accomplish all these when your metabolism is working. Breakfast doesn’t have to be a huge meal. You could have quick bowl of cereal (millet pap)or oats. Just start your day right with a healthy diet .
Eat RAW FOODS every day. Each meal should include one cup of vegetables, preferable green leafy vegetables and one half cup of grains (brown rice, ofada rice etc.) this will sure boost your metabolism and increase weight loss. High amounts of food enzymes found in raw foods allow your body spend more energy on metabolism and less on digestion.
Eat small meals throughout the day. We’ve all heard this before and for good reason. Keep your fire burning by adding small amounts of wood to it throughout the day – that’s the analogy. This is much more effective than stuffing your face full of food once or twice a day.
The recommendation is to eat something every 2 – 3 hours.
So depending on your daily schedule, this would be 4 – 6 meals a day.Experts are now saying that eating smaller meals more often helps keep your metabolism going.
• Protein with every meal
Another great metabolism boosters trick is to get lots of protein. By adding protein with every meal you are improving your lean muscle mass. The more lean muscle, the higher your BMR.
Don’t worry, I’m not saying you have to bulk up and become a body builder. Just focus on eating the right foods. By adding protein to every meal, you are helping fuel your body with muscle.
Protein can be found in a variety of foods from many of the food groups. Red meat of course is the first thing that comes to mind. But foods like turkey or chicken, fish, egg whites and beans are greater source of protein.
•Drink GREEN TEA
Green tea has been shown to boost metabolism. Researchers believe that antioxidants in green tea can cause the body to waste calories as heat, which increases your caloric burn.
•Add some SPICE to your meals
The following herbs and spices are well-known to speed up metabolism: red fresh pepper, green bell peppers, ginger, garlic and tyme – just to name a few.
•Drink Water
Water and weight loss. These two terms are often seen together in most weight loss tips.
There is some debates among the experts on whether there is any real benefits to losing weight by drinking the recommended 8 – 10 glasses of water or more depending on individual’s weight.
Most agree that people who drink this amount of water do see weight loss results. For some, this could be because they have replaced their sugary drinks with water. For others, it could be as simple as feeling full from that glass of water.
Even though there have been a few scientific studies done on the benefits of drinking water for weight loss, all the successful weight loss plans do recommend drinking water.
Start your day off with a tall glass of water. Instead of reaching for the coffee or tea cup first, get a glass of water and drink.
Drink a glass of water before each meal. If you are eating 5 to 6 smaller meals a day, which is recommended for weight loss, then this means you will get 5 to 6 glasses of water easily by drinking before you eat.
Drink a glass of water before and after you exercise. Additionally you should hydrate yourself during your exercise by taking sips here and there.End your day with a glass of water. Before tucking away for the night, drink that last glass of water.
How you feel about your weight depends on which way your waistline is headed.
When you look into the mirror, you’re judging yourself against your past, which will predict how you feel about Yourself today. This in turn will determine your Self Worth, Self Esteem and Self Confidence.
Inevitably one of two things is happening. You’re losing weight, which makes you feel awesome with an extra jump in your step. This unbelievable level of success will shine through as self confidence and an unbounded level of energy.
On the other hand if you’re gaining weight, your energy level drops and you begin to have this gnawing feeling of low self worth. You become especially sensitive to how you look and feel in your clothes, and although you may not want to admit it, it bothers you to think what other people might be saying about you and your added weight.
Like most dieters we seem to need something to trigger us to get us going on the road to finally losing those excess pounds once and for all. Do we really need to hit rock bottom?
What will make you start losing that unwanted 20, 40, 60, 80 or maybe even 100 pounds?
•Not be able to take part in your favorite activity or hobby

•Not being able to share the quality of life you want with your partner
•Gaining perspective by seeing a loved one fall to ill health
Don’t wait for something to happen to take action now!

The foods you should not eat that will cause a severe spike in your blood sugar levels are refined and processed foods such as white bread, white pasta, sweets, pastries, artificial fruit juices and the list goes on and on. A continual consumption of these types of foods is a perfect ingredient for not only gaining weight (body fat) but puts you at an increased risk for diabetes and decrease your metabolic rate.
Make it a conscious effort every day to reduce the amount of processed and refined foods in your diet. By just focusing on this one change to your nutritional program, you will see dramatic changes to how you look and feel.

how-to: bold blue smoky eye for the modelz.....
Itching to swipe on some blue eyeshadow without looking like you're straight out of the '80s? Makeup artist Lauren Cosenza shows and tells you exactly how to do just that.
1. Prep your lids. "Start by prepping your eyelids with a primer to make sure the shadow stays put and doesn't crease," Cosenza says. Ashley used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
2. White out your eyelid with liner. "Apply white eyeliner from your lash line to right above the crease to help amp up the blue shadow's intensity," she says. Ashley swiped on NYX Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.
3. Sweep on a royal blue eyeshadow. "Using an eyeshadow brush, apply a bright royal blue eyeshadow over your eyelid from your lash line to your brow bone," Cosenza says. Try Almay Shadow Softies Eyeshadow in Midnight Sky.
4. Blend on some more blue hues. With a fluffy blending brush, sweep on Bobbi Brown’s Blue Denim Eyeshadow from lash line to crease to create a rich look. Then, add a navy shadow into the crease for depth. Try Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Midnight Blue No.20
5. Add eyeliner. "Finish by running a shimmery blue liner over your entire lid, keeping it away from the crease to maintain the two different blue shades," she says. Ashley used NYX Cosmetics Slide On Pencil in Sunrise Blue here.
Finally, flaunt this look on Saturday night.

Inspirational!14-year-old Chennai boy who won an MIT award last year develops i-Safe app
S. Arjun, a Class VIII student, had last year developed an app called Ez School Bus Locator
He is now working on adding a functionality to rope in the local community so that during a distress call, people nearby are automatically alerted to reach out to the person in danger, without having to wait for the police.
The teen, S. Arjun, a Class VIII student, had last year developed an app called Ez School Bus Locator, which won the first place in an app contest organised by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. That app for Android phones helps parents track the location of their children's school bus, and also calculate how much time the vehicle will take to reach the destination. Even those with basic phones can use it by SMSing.
Arjun has also earlier won an App Inventor Bug Finding Contest organised by MIT.
His big dream right now is to "have my own company called Lateralogics to make it something like Google and Microsoft," Arjun told NDTV.
Arjun's parents say he spends three to four hours online every day to learn programming languages. "We were lucky to make the right kind of tools available to him. Programming helps children develop many life skills like problem solving, decision making, etc. and that's one reason my wife and I encouraged him towards this," Arjun's father, Santosh Kumar said.
The parents say Arjun is quite popular in his school. His hobbies include robotics, chess and badminton.Read more> > >
