a handful People from around the world take part in the Ivan Kupala festival near the town of Oktyabrskia town in Samara Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of the Volga River (Saratov Reservoir), 154 kilometers (96 mi) from Samara with Population of about 27,244 southeast of Minsk, June 21, 2014. The traditional festival celebrates the summer solstice with overnight festivities such as people singing and dancing around campfires, as they believe it will purge them of their sins and make them healthier. the celebration which attracts several media have the following pictures taken at the festival ground:
