Reminding of how good i was in Geography i'd like us to travel all the way to South America where the largest forest is at the moment,..incase you don't know,its high time to know now that,Most of the Amazon lies within Brazil's borders, its just that, deforestation rates have increased alarmingly in recent months due to what certain species of humanities are doing to the Amazon.
Last year, deforestation increased by 28 percent, after four years of decline. That raises serious environmental concerns such that certain steps were taking in order to put it on check, this is because the Amazon is one of the world's most important defenses against global warming, and is home to a wide range of tropical species.
as such, Brazilian authority have arrested a certain group suspected to be 'greatest destroyers of the Amazon'
During the raid,reported has it that, Five men and a woman have already been arrested in Para state in the north of the country in connection to the destruction!
The BBC's Wyre Davies in Rio de Janeiro says details are still sketchy, partly because the police operation is focused on one of the most remote and inaccessible parts of the Amazon region.
