Jay Z said "NO!" to Chauncey Mahan's Lawsuit Against Roc-A-Fella...must read!!!

Based on what's happening right now,it look as if Jay Z want to put a swift end to Chauncey Mahan's lawsuit against Roc-A-Fella in which he asks for co-writing credits on 45 songs.Reports has it that, the star is making some move to end the whole thing about the lawsuit, although its not clear whether he's made up his mind or not,but the summary is,he's about to do something like that...

Back in July, there's a report that former sound engineer Chauncey Mahan had (once again) sued Jay Z and Roc-A-Fella Records for the partial ownership of 45 songs recorded with his help between the years 1998-2002. Now, Hova has filed a motion to dismiss Mahan's suit.

According to Billboard, Jay and his lawyers argue that "After 14 years of silence, Petitioner’s claims (and his attempt to use the federal courts as part of his shakedown scheme) are outrageous and wholly without merit. More significantly, for purposes of this Motion, the claims are plainly barred by the three-year statute of limitations contained in the Copyright Act, and have been for more than a decade."

The dismissal documents also reiterate that Mahan recently tried to extort Jay for the possession of master recordings
