Being compared to one of the greatest vocalists in the world?
Ariana Grande does NOT have a problem with that!
Despite the rumors swirling around of the former Nickelodeon star being a huge diva, Ari is choosing to ignore those rumors and focus on something more positive - like being compared to Mariah Carey!
The tiny songstress has been compared to the great vocalist in terms of vocal talents ever since she came onto the musical scene and it doesn't bother her one bit!
In fact, she calls it an honor to be on the same level with someone of Mimi's stature!
Ari even admitted MC was a huge influence on her ever since she was a wee little one! She said:
"Mariah has been a huge influence on me since I was a little girl. I've even done a cover of one of her songs. I don't think there are any negatives to being compared to one of the greatest vocalists of all time. It's honestly a great honor."
There is NOTHING negative about being compared to the Elusive Chanteuses' talent!
That's seriously one of the biggest compliments a singer can get or even wish for!
With that being said, could a possible MC and AG collaboration bloom from this comment?? Time will only tell!
