With a repertoire to rival the most outlandish Saudi and Russian mega-yachts, the Nirvana is causing a bidding war among billionaire sailors as they battle to snap up the £200 million (N49,463,088,884) sea city. Only a handful of yachts have been priced more than the one-year-old vessel - making it one of the most luxurious floating mansions on the planet.

Built by South African construction gurus Oceanco and designed by Australian Sam Sorgiovanni, the 88.5 metre-long yacht has a remarkable pedigree history.
A spokesman for Edmiston, who are marketing the yacht, said: 'Nirvana is without question one of a handful of elite world cruising yachts around today - and it is certainly the most impressive and opulent yacht currently on sale. 'Every inch of the ship has been painstakingly designed and built. There really is little else like it.
'There, of course, has been a lot of interest in the listing but as of yet no sale has been agreed.'

Arriving from the swim platform, guests arrive onto a vast aft deck complete with 7.5m luxury pool and a large sunbed area.
The floor of the pool rises to create a huge deck for entertaining family and friends or just to show off the business compatriots - forward in the main salon is a bar and exotic reptile house separating it from the dining area.
All guests cabins are situated on the main deck, with floor to ceiling windows and as well as the full beam VIP stateroom.

The silver engraved elevator services all decks and leads guests up to the owner's deck which can be transformed into a secluded on-board retreat.
The owner's stateroom dominates over half of the upper deck, with a private sunbathing area with Jacuzzi forward, salon with terraces over the sea and a covered dining area.
Exterior stairs on the above deck lead to the bridge deck and the enormous and superbly equipped gymnasium and spa.

But when spas and five-star dining becomes too much, there is a private sundeck with plunge pool to enjoy, a 3D cinema next to twins garages that caters for supercars, ski boats or 10 jet skis.
Or if riding waves is too similar to sailing, then owners will be able to fly off in their own helicopter from their private helipad.

Movie Producers, Directors Don't Want Tonto Dikeh's Services No More Due To Her Antics

Tonto Dike recent surge to super stardom might be taking a hit recently due to some directors and movie producers are trying to avoid her.
The actress had received criticism on many a movie she starred in making her a hot cake for producers who want her to be part of their movies due to her logic in script interpretation.
The enchanting young actress still have a lot in store for her and she could achieve whatever she want to achieve in the industry.
Nollywood is just a step in the right direction to become a world renowned. She has the charisma, physics, face and other attributes anyone could think of to become a star. But the crazy incidents of late is not telling good of her image. It could be a strategy to be hyped by the media, but controversies easily kills a celebrity image.
According to Hitz, there is a current gang up to frustrate the career of actress, Tonto Dikeh, who is also a darling to controversies.
Tonto who hugs, chews and pampers controversy in a very helplessly controversial manner is said to have bitten more than she can chew in recent times following her rude and troublesome behaviour while on set. A certain top movie Director who wouldn’t want his name mentioned, was directing a movie on a set at Asaba with Tonto Dikeh playing lead in the movie and ever since he came back to Lagos after the shoot, he has not stopped complaining about how rude and abusive Tonto played out herself all through at the location.
According to him, “Tonto Dikeh is such a rot and lacks every bit of home training, apologies to her parents. ‘I tried to control myself in order not to disrupt the set, but I got upset over the kind of insult Tonto, heaped on the makeup artiste on the set. A woman who is old enough to be her mother” ‘Are you stupid, don’t you know what you are supposed to do? Must I remind you before you’ll know you are supposed to make me up’? Those were said to be Tonto’s words to the already fuming makeover artiste who was at the verge of throwing back some punch lines at her.
At this point, the director was said to have lashed at Tonto seriously and washed her in, out, left, right and center until the situation was later calmed down by the producer of the movie. This was sequaled by a certain report made available to this medium that due to her controversial lifestyle and appetite for trouble, Tonto’s colleagues now isolate themselves from her, as well as some of her very close friends.
Meanwhile a check by Hitz has revealed that top movie producers and directors have teamed up to frustrate Tonto Dikeh due to mannerless attitude while on set. According to them, “that little brat, apart from her addictions to marijuana and cigarette, doesn’t give a damn about whose ox is gored, she abuses, throw tantrums and fight on set at every slightest provocation and we must make sure she’s humiliated. She seem to have gathered to much weight and has hurriedly forgotten those days when she used to go on bended knees for a ‘waka pass’ role in movies. We’ll teach her a lesson’. They vowed.
On the other hand, records have it that the ‘Mother Controversy’ as Tonto is now widely addresses by colleagues doesn’t enjoy the best of relationship with most of her colleagues. Among whom are: Mercy Johnson, her arch rival, Mamma Gee, even though she was credited of introducing her to the industry big time, Genevieve, although the genesis of their disagreement was not stated, Nonso Diobi for rebuking her over abusive comments on Mercy Johnson. Other names given are, Nuella Njubigbo and Monalisa Chinda, all of whom are producers’ top demands in movies.
Meanwhile producers and directors, who have worked with her, have described Mercy Johnson as a down to earth person, cheerful and cool-headed to work with. Sources claim it’s the reason MJ as Mercy is famously addressed is of a very high demand in movies in the past few years, especially now that Nollywood is shifting base to Asaba in Delta State, Nigeria.
Mercy Johnson, married to Odianose Okojie, blessed with a beautiful baby, Purity has countless of movies to her credit and has won to herself, too numerous fans within a short period of time.

Sunday Mba Ranked 24th Best Player In The World

Goal has ranked Sunday Mba as the 24 best player of the 2013 football year ahead of the likes of Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Isco, Mata and Lampard. Hazard and Oscar didn't even make the list.
This is a first time ranking for Mba in the annual goalcom top 50 after he became a revelation for the super eagle's in the recently concluded AFCON which he scored to clinch the title.
When Keshi decided to take Mba along with five other home based players to the AFCON tournament he had a lot of raised eyebrows but the 24-year-old played better than many of the nation’s more heralded foreign contingent.
Having started the tournament on the bench, Mba was Nigeria’s hero in the knockout stages. He scored the winner in the quarter-final against Cote d’Ivoire to spell the end for Didier Drogba’s trophyless ‘golden generation’. Then in the final itself, Mba fired home the only goal against Burkina Faso to gift Nigeria their first Afcon title since 1994.
The 24-year-old was also one of Nigeria’s best performers at the Confederations Cup and has helped to draw attention to the depth of talent in the Nigerian league.

MYSTERY: Bible Untouched By Flames In Ashes Of Burnt Car Accident

Jeremiah Giwa who was involved in a car accident in Abuja that burnt his car beyond recognition but the bible in his car was untouched by the flames narrates his experience.
photo
The car, driven by one Jeremiah Giwa, who arrived the country from United Kingdom about five months ago after completing his tertiary education, swerved off the road, tumbled and eventually landed in a ditch, exploding in flames.

“My younger brother, Joshua and I were going to pick our parents and elder brother from the airport, so we had an accident on the way at the road before Galadimawa. We were coming from our home in the Games Village. The car was very fine and it hadn’t developed any fault before.

That morning, it was raining and the car began to swerve off the road. I tried to bring the car back on the road but the break was not holding anymore. I tried ceaselessly and I later lost control of the car. The car eventually tumbled twice after moving zigzag on the road and landed in a ditch.

I have been driving close to five years and I was very okay when I drove the car. “When it happened, we immediately unhooked our seat-belts; I talked to my brother for a few seconds to ensure he was okay. We unhooked the belts; thank God it wasn’t jammed.

We tried to open the driver’s door but the door was jammed. We tried to break the glass too, it refused to break. We managed to spot one of the windows at the back; we broke it and climbed out through it, under one of the chairs. We went far away from the car to ensure our safety because the car was already in flames.
The two of us were the only occupants of the car and my brother was sitting beside me in front. We were so shocked that we both came out unscathed.

“We watched the car go up in flames while other drivers initially drove past us. It was about a few minutes before 6am; so it was still a bit dark.

By the time people began to stop, everything had burnt beyond recognition. To our surprise, the early morning rain which we thought could help save the car also stopped immediately the car was completely gutted by the fire. Sympathizers didn’t even know we owned the car.

They all ran past us to see the burning car. They were wondering if people were still there and all that. “By the time my parents and elder brother were aware of the incident, they all cried, but I think it was for joy. Initially, when my dad was aware of it, he wasn’t happy that we were coming to pick them.

We had intended to give them a surprise lift from the airport. But, when we took our dad to the scene of the accident, he couldn’t talk anymore.

He was in tears. The car wasn’t the reason he cried. I guess he was just surprised and was grateful to God as to how we manage to come out unscathed and how the bible was not touched by fire.

“I am sure God really loves us. We had just finished a youth vigil a night before the incident and prayed against destiny wasters. Shortly after we left the scene, we went to Garki General Hospital for necessary tests including x-rays. Nothing happened to us. We were given paracetamol and pain relievers, which to my knowledge none of us has been taking because nothing happened to us.”

Jeremiah noted that the Bible was later recovered from the ashes of the burnt car while it was not scathed by the inferno, disclosing that many people had been coming to Christ Victory Life Church in the city to see the Bible and use it to pray over their problems.

The Presiding Bishop of the Church, Bishop Napoleon Obayojie said, “My reaction to the accident that happened is that God is God and that He takes care of his own and He shows forth His glory.

The enemy had meant the accident for destruction, like the day of Shedrack, Mechack and Abednego.
The Lord God came in and delivered the children. The Bible that was in the vehicle which the fire burnt to ashes did not burn; the Bible is still at my altar right now.

That was a sign God showed to the world that He was the one that intervened and that caused everything that happened. If you had been to a scene of an accident, you will definitely know it is only God that can do that; no one else.

“In these last days, I think there are many people whose faiths are wavering, whose beliefs are shaking, and who do not have the stamina to continue. Maybe one thing had happened to them or the other. They might attribute such to God’s failure or that God did not answer their prayers.

But with this kind of thing that happened, they should understand and be convinced that God is still God and that He is in control of human affairs.

He is in control of the entire world. So, if any man believes in Him and trusts in Him, He is very much reliable and He will never fail you. If your faith is already failing, you have to rise and be sure that the same God that did this would answer you.

God is not partial, As He loves these children, so does He loves all brethren in other churches. If there is anyone that wants to know Him more, come closer to Him, you will experience Him.

The Bishop noted that in the 17-year history of the church, no owner of any car in his church had died of accident “Christ Victory Life Church has been given a covenant since 1996. God declared it to me that you are going to serve people that are living, not the dead!”

Obese Man Faces New Zealand Deportation

A 50-year-old chef, who has already lost 30kg, says it is unfair that he could be kicked out of New Zealand for being "too fat".

Obesity treatment provision slammed
The South African says he now cannot work and is relying on handouts
A South African man facing deportation from New Zealand for being too fat has said he agrees with the policy but feels he should be allowed to stay.
Officials are worried that Albert Buitenhuis, who weighs 130kg (20st), could one day rack up large bills for the taxpayer and have decided he no longer has "an acceptable standard of health".
An Immigration New Zealand spokesman said Mr Buitenhuis was rejected because his obesity put him at "significant risk" of complications including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and obstructive sleep apnoea.
"It is important that all migrants have an acceptable standard of health to minimise costs and demands on New Zealand's health services," said the spokesman.
Mr Buitenhuis told 3 News he "totally agreed" that migrants should not be allowed to over burden health services - but said nothing was mentioned when he first came to New Zealand.
The 50-year-old chef and his wife moved from South Africa six years ago - a time when he says he weighed 30kg more.
Despite having their visa renewed multiple times, they ran into trouble when officials considered their application for permanent residency.
"Six years down the line it's not fair to me," Mr Buitenhuis told New Zealand television.
"We sold everything to come here. It wasn't just done willy-nilly."
Mr Buitenhuis says he has not had any expensive medical treatment since moving to New Zealand but admits that he will need a knee operation at some point.
The couple, who are now unable to work, are relying on friends and family while they appeal to immigration officials.

Bizarre wedding as couple's four dogs take centre stage on the big day

Fur better, fur worse as Daniel Hill, from Channel 4’s SuperScrimpers, ties the knot with pooch mad spendaholic

When generous Louise Harris and scrimper Daniel Hill’s wedding went to the dogs they couldn’t be happier.
Most brides hate to be upstaged but the Sunday People can reveal how Louise insisted a quartet of four ruff guests attended her marriage to make it her yappiest day.
Louise, 33, was adamant that her four Yorkshire terriers had to see her tie the knot with penny-pinching presenter Daniel Hill, 31, from Channel 4’s SuperScrimpers.
And true to form, spendaholic Louise, boss of a pooch pampering business, did not scrimp on doggie treats for Lola, aged nine, Lulu, six, Lolly and Larry, both four – nearly £8,000 on goodies such as chicken broth beer, stock cocktails and liver cake topped with flowers.
Each dog wore outfits for Louise’s nuptials, with “page boy” Larry in a purple bow tie and morning suite and Lulu, Lolly and “chief bridesmaid” Lola in matching green.
They were dressed to the canines and escorted down the aisle by four of the bride’s friends. Louise said: “For me it was important the dogs were included in my big day and had everything they needed. Their two nannies were flown in from Spain and there was a doggie day-crèche because weddings can get a bit boring and I didn’t want the dogs sitting around with nothing to do.
“The weather was quite warm so there were paddling pools, toys and each dog had a four- poster bed in a chill out area.
“I also shipped in about £350 worth of doggie treats.
“The ice cream man was paid extra to make a selection of mini cones so the dogs could have ice creams at the same time as my guests.”

Louise, who had considered a mansion in Tuscany for her wedding, finally picked Woodhall Manor in Suffolk for her three-day, £130,000 celebration earlier this month.
She said: “The dogs were definitely the deciding factor for the venue. They have always played a vital role in my life.
“I wouldn’t have got married any place where I couldn’t have them with me. It ended up being the perfect day. It was even more overwhelming when I watched the dogs being carried down the aisle.”
She will be hoping her marriage lasts longer than that of her much-loved Lola.
In April 2011 Louise splashed out an incredible £20,000 for Lola’s “wedding” to Mugly, holder of the title world’s ugliest dog.
But the union ended in “divorce” a year later because they rarely saw each other.

Samsung puts 64GB eMMC 5 modules into mass production

Ready for next generation high-end smartphones and tablets
samsung logo 2
MEMORY MAKER Samsung announced that it has put 400MBps embedded multi-media card (eMMC) memory into mass production for smartphones and tablets.
Samsung's position as a leading DRAM and NAND memory vendor is supported by the firm's focus on pushing the capacity and bandwidth of its modules harder than the competition. Now the firm has announced that it has put 16GB, 32GB and 64GB eMMC modules into mass production for smartphones and tablets.
According to Samsung, its eMMC specification 5 modules have a bandwidth of 400MBps, with the 32GB and 64GB devices having random read speeds of 7,000 IOPS with random write speeds of 7,000 IOPS in cache-on mode. The firm touts impressive sequential read and write bandwidths of 250MBps and 90MBps.
Samsung VP of memory marketing Kyong Moo Mang said, "With timely mass production of our ultra-fast eMMC PRO line-up offering a more than 10X performance increase over external memory cards, Samsung will accelerate the spread of high-end mobile devices as the market for devices with larger screens and more multimedia functionality expands even further.
"We will continue to provide advanced mobile memory solutions that allow users to enjoy high definition, large-volume content seamlessly, as we also strengthen technological cooperation with mobile devices manufacturers."
Samsung touted its eMMC modules as having significantly higher bandwidth than Class 10 memory cards. The firm said its 16GB, 32GB and 64GB modules come in 11.5x13mm packages and incorporate the firm's own NAND controller.
Given that Samsung announced that its eMMC 5 modules have just gone into mass production, it is unlikely that devices such as the Galaxy Note 3 will have the modules, however it is a safe bet that some high-end phones that launch later in 2013 or early 2014 will use its eMMC 5 memory. µ

Dangers of eyelash extensions
Dangerous? Eyelash extensions, which see individual synthetic lashes attached to the wearer's own for a fuller look, carry risk of infection and allergic reaction

<a href='http://ads1.myjoyonline.com/www/delivery/ck.php?n=a884f041&cb=INSERT_RANDOM_NUMBER_HERE' target='_blank'><img src='http://ads1.myjoyonline.com/www/delivery/avw.php?zoneid=48&cb=INSERT_RANDOM_NUMBER_HERE&n=a884f041' border='0' alt='' /></a> Medical experts have warned that the adhesives used for eyelash extensions can carry risk of infection, allergic reaction and even cause the natural lashes to fall out.

The popular beauty procedure, which sees individual synthetic lashes attached to the wearer's own for a fuller look, was the subject of an investigation by Consumer Reports.

The doctors consulted in the report say that many of the adhesives used by beauty salons contain formaldehyde, which some people are allergic to.

Dr Neda Shamie, an associate professor of ophthalmology at Doheny Eye Institute in Beverly Hills, California, told ABC News: 'Any chemical exposure to the cornea being so fragile in some ways or susceptible to scarring and irritations and infection, it could be harmful.'

But even if one is not allergic to formaldehyde, eyelash extensions can cause an infection known as madarosis, explained Philip R Rizzuto, MD, secretary for communications for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

'Sometimes just the irritation from the glue used can lead women to rub or tug on their lashes,' he said, adding that many ophthalmologists have reported a rise in patients with problems relating to eyelash extensions.

Consumer Reports warns that the eyelash extensions can also trap dirt and bacteria, heightening the risk of infection.

And the UK's College of Optometrists in England warned that the procedure can even cause permanent loss of eyelashes.

'Repeated use of eyelash extensions can cause traction alopecia, a condition where the hair falls out due to excessive tension placed on the hair shaft,' a press release stated.

'As a result, this can damage the hair follicle, which can slow down and even cease production of hair.'

Indeed, the risks associated with the treatment were made widely apparent when Broadway star Kristen Chenoweth appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman wearing dark glasses in February.

She told the host: 'Something bad has happened. I’ve got eyelash extensions. Here’s the problem: The glue has formaldehyde in it, and I’m allergic. I swelled up and I’m sneezing. . . It looks like I have lips on my eyelids.'

The Association for Damage-Free Eyelash Extensions defends the procedure, however, telling ABC News that the 'adhesive should not contain formaldehyde,' and 'hypoallergenic adhesives are available.'

A spokesman said: 'Properly applied eyelash extensions are not dangerous.'
The Best Way to Care for Your Brazilian Hair

The Best Way to Care for Your Brazilian Hair

<a href='http://ads1.myjoyonline.com/www/delivery/ck.php?n=a884f041&cb=INSERT_RANDOM_NUMBER_HERE' target='_blank'><img src='http://ads1.myjoyonline.com/www/delivery/avw.php?zoneid=48&cb=INSERT_RANDOM_NUMBER_HERE&n=a884f041' border='0' alt='' /></a> If you want your hair to appear serious go for a serious human hair extension like Brazilian hair! Brazilian hair is effortlessly strong, available straight or curly and is excellent for coloring. It is the most sought after human hair in the world; the very best and thus priciest of all resources of true human hair extensions. Here’s how to take the best care of your beautiful Brazilian hair;

Shampoo: Distribute a generous amount of Shampoo through your entire scalp and massage your scalp with the tips of your fingers (not your fingernails). Gently, shampoo the hair in a downward motion, working shampoo from the top down. This rubbing action and the resultant friction will loosen dirt, product residue and dandruff which can then be rinsed away. Thoroughly rinse your scalp afterwards, still massaging with your finger tips as you do so.

Condition / Hydrate: Conditioning the hair is vital to its maintenance. After you have shampooed and thoroughly rinsed your hair apply a generous amount of conditioner to the hair. Gently comb hair with a wide tooth comb, to assure even coverage. Rinse conditioner from your hair with warm water and gently towel or air dry.

Mid Week Wash: Make sure to Shampoo your hair at least once a week. If you lead an active lifestyle, use excessive product or feel your hair had become dry substitute conditioner for shampoo during your weekly wash. Wash your hair in a downward motion, working conditioner from the top down in one motion.

Please remember that many shampoos and conditioners contain harsh, drying sulfates that are extremely damaging to hair. Detergents found in shampoos make curly hair frizzy and uncooperative. Conditioner can be used sufficiently to clean the hair. Also, more gentle shampoos that contain mild cleansers (i.e. cocamidopropyl betaine or coco betaine) can be used occasionally or more often for wavier hair types. Pick an appropriate product for the care of your new hair. Use a good quality shampoo, your stylist can advise you what product is best for your hair.

Styling: Always keep your extensions tangle free. Brush or comb gently and avoid any excess tension. Always comb or brush hair from the bottom up, small sections at a time. The more careful you treat your extensions the longer they will last. Support your attachment when brushing or combing your hair.

Hair Care Products: Use a good conditioner to keep your hair soft. Avoid hair products that contain alcohol which can make the hair very dry. Also remember that many styling products can cause build up over time. It is recommended that a deep cleansing shampoo be used once or twice a month to remove build-up. Build-up can make the hair dry and can cause tangling. Use moisturizers to avoid this problem.

Heat / Styling Tools: Heat is your hair’s biggest enemy. The more you use on it, the shorter the life span of your hair. Use heat in moderation. Do not use high temperatures. High temperatures can damage the hair, including permanently altering the hair texture.

Please note that, if you perm, tint, bleach or cellophane the hair, you do it at your own risk! If you must chemically alter it, then be sure to do a test strand first. This will allow you to test how the hair will hold up to the chemicals.

More importantly, read the labels of all hair products carefully. Do not use any of the hair products recommended if you are allergic to the product or to any ingredient in the hair care product.

Follow these tips and get ready for the compliments!

Cannes: £34million of jewels stolen by armed man during raid

Officials say the hold-up took place this morning in one of the area's most prestigious locations

Armed robbers walked away with £34million of gems from a swanky hotel in Cannes.
A briefcase stuffed with rare diamonds was snatched just three days after a member of the notorious Pink Panther jewel thief gang escaped from jail.
Sources said a gunman burst into the hotel, which was staging a jewellery exhibition, and made off on foot with the astonishing haul of sparklers.
It is believed an accomplice was waiting outside the magnificent building in the resort of Cannes on the French Riviera.
A police spokesman in the French city said: “A full and urgent operation is under way to catch the culprit and recover these jewels. Thieves see Cannes as rich pickings.”
One theory is that it was the work of the Pink Panthers. It follows Milan Poparic’s jailbreak on Thursday, which made him the third member of the gang to escape from Swiss prisons in the past three months.

The other two fugitives fled a jail in May – three days before jewels worth £1million were stolen from a hotel safe in Cannes during the city’s film festival. A few days later a £1.6million necklace also vanished after a celebrity party at a five-star hotel in the neighbouring town of Cap d’Antibes.
Cannes’ reputation as the worldwide centre for gem raids was strengthened by yesterday’s raid at the glamorous Carlton Hotel on the Croisette promenade. Among the numerous items taken was jewellery encrusted with diamonds.
The temporary exhibition was being organised by Leviev, a diamond firm that started trading in London in 2006.
It is owned by Lev Leviev, an Israeli billionaire who is based in London.
Poparic, a 34-year-old Bosnian, had been serving time in Orbe jail, which is near the French border, for his role in a 2009 heist.
The international gang of robbers were given their name after British police found a diamond ring in a tub of face cream, similar to a scene from 1963 comedy film The Pink Panther starring Peter Sellers.
