meet American wonder Girls that Created An Android App For The Blind!

Out of sympathy and a deep concern for humanity,A group of six grade school girls in Los Fresnos, Texas USA took it upon themselves to solve a problem for blind children in the state. They built an app for them. The girls 6th grade science teacher, Maggie Bolado was inspired to get the girls involved in building the app after seeing a tweet from the Verizon Innovative App Challenge.
in the report,it was made known that,The app, Hello Navi, first came from the imagination of a particular girl in the group, Grecia Cano. who says that, her heart went out to the blind students in her school who had a hard time figuring out how to get around;when she asked which students were interested in learning how to build an app and these six girls came forward.
The challenge invited the interest of over 1200 applicants, which eventually turns out navigation for the blind was a winning idea. The girls won the Verizon challenge and were recently whisked away to meet President Obama, Bill Nye the Science Guy and Kari Byron from MythBusters for their efforts.

sinceThe girls didn’t have any coding experience themselves so a group of programmers from the MIT Media Lab helped the girls put the app together. They also showed them basic coding techniques.

although,The app doesn’t help the blind avoid obstacles, but it does give them turn by turn directions, thus saving them time preparing for how to get to class at the beginning of every new school year.
The app was made in Java and should be available in Google Play on June 1st.

what's wrong over Justin Timberlake photo Posts by Western wall in Jerusalem?

Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake has  sparked heavy controversy with an Instagram post of himself praying at the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City.
Maybe he should have been briefed before the hashtag? Justin Timberlake posted a picture of himself via Instagram, Wednesday, May 28, posing in front of the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City. the post which attracted dozens includes the following:
PHOTOS: Biggest recent celeb scandals
The global pop star, 33, in town for his 20/20 Experience World Tour stop in Tel Aviv, was photographed from the back, resting his hands and head against the Kotel. "The Holy Land... What an experience," he wrote in his caption. "I will never forget this day."
PHOTOS: JT and Cameron, plus more friendly celeb exes
Though there have been upwards of 250,000 likes, the serene moment of Timberlake praying at Judaism's most significant standing structure was quickly diminished by his use of the hashtag "#Israel."
PHOTOS: JT and Jessica's sexy vacation
"Correction," one outraged follower wrote in response to the pic. "You are in Palestine not israel #disapointed." Another user wrote, "There was never an Israel, there was always Palestine."
PHOTOS: Celebrity bromances
Jessica Biel's husband did not address his controversial hashtag in a follow-up Instagram post. Instead, Timberlake continued his ongoing bromance with Jimmy Fallon: The singer regrammed a picture posted by the Late Night show host, of a golf ball scrawled with Timberlake's name.
"So funny," he replied to Fallon. "I was just telling someone how my name was on your balls."

...do you see anything wrong in what Justine Timberlake has done by posting his pic while standing by the western wall in Jerusalem?

imagine what poverty has caused in Borno state!...is this life?

Taking a look at what some people are doing just say, they're poor and are desperate to get  this thing call money by all means, has affected many people's thinking faculty to the point they don't care, in whichever way you instruct them to do,as long as you can  give them money, they are ready to do it,which is common in the African world, how sad!
sad enough, what i'm talking about is not too far from where you live, how did i know ? because, this  very news is something  from your continent!

in the news, the guardian news revealed that, A young man, named, Ibrahim Tilitili, one of those brain washed by boko haram was said to have been paid the sum of two thousand Naira (N2,000), to burnt down  houses at Mandara Girau village in Biu local government area of Borno state.
Ibrahim, Chibok by tribe and resident of Mandara Girau village confessed that one Mallam Sani also a resident of the Village gave him the amount and instructed him to set some of the houses in the village on fire.
According to residents of the village, Ibrahim had succeeded in setting ablaze three houses and scare the people of the village who started running for their lives to safe heaven before some brave young men pounce on him, when they realized, it was a lone attack.
On realizing that, he was somebody they know in the village, they wanted to killed him, but some elders intervene and he was arrested and taken to Sarkin Baka- renown hunter in Biu town, where he made confession that, he was actually paid by Mallam Sani who is also resident of the village to set those houses ablaze.

Correspondent revealed that, after he was interrogated by Vigilantee leader (Sarkin Baka) in Hausa langauge and made the confession, he led the men who arrested him to his paid master, who was  also arrested and handed over to police in Biu town.
...that's the situation near you,but with this kind of development, what can we do to correct issues like this across Africa?...let's have your views

9 super stars who lost their dignity to poverty

Of a truth wealth is good, and moreso if gotten gradually. Slow money is indeed better than no money and fast money dont last too long, you've gotta face it. Money is just like spirit; today it is and tomorrow, it is gone as if it was never there before thus given philosophers, a valid proof that life is an illusion.
The way to stardom, is tough. it is so sad that so many stars forget there humble beginnings so fast, even as the money keeps rolling fast into their pockets, they start spending on the latest cars, having sex with prostitutes and strippers, building mansion, instead of investing and at the end, they start regreting like these stars

Rapper Ludacris
1) Ludacris was in a custody battle with the mother of his child and revealed in court filings that he earned only $55,000 over the previous year. That’s hardly the paycheck of a baller. Yes, that was $55,000 and yes, that was 2013.

Singer Bow Wow

2) Lil Bow Wow was in court after his Bentley was repossessed. He revealed that he had only $1,500 in his bank account. He now has a job on BET’s 106 & Park, but this is probably not enough money to get him out of debt. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Bow Wow owes $90,000 to the IRS and another $280,000 to a luxury car leasing company. So, while his debt of financial distress remains unclear, it’s very clear that he’s living on the edge financially.

Xzibit

3) Xzibit – former host of the MTV show, “Pimp My Ride,” filed bankruptcy after owing over $1 million dollars to the IRS. He hasn’t had a hit record since Bobby and Whitney were in love with each other. He has filed bankruptcy twice since 2009.

Method Man

4) Method Man was arrested for failing to pay taxes back in 2011. He resolved the matter, but remains in debt. He also keeps trying to make a comeback, but it’s just not working out.

Fat Joe

5) Fat Joe – went to prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion after owing over a million dollars to the IRS.

Rapper Lil Flip

6) Lil Flip went to court and told the judge that he can’t pay more than $500 per month in child support. According to most estimates, this means that he isn’t earning more than about $3,000 per month. He’d be better off collecting trash for a living.

Ja Rule

7) Ja Rule went to prison for two years for tax evasion after owing millions to the IRS. He gets out soon, and will spend the rest of his life paying off the debt.

Beanie Sigel

8) Beanie Sigel – He used to rap next to Jay-Z, but he too went to prison for tax evasion.

Young Buck

9) Young Buck from G-Unit went bankrupt and lost his home, forcing him to sell his jewelry and everything else. If you listen to any of Buck’s songs, you’ll hear that he usually rapped about how much money he had and even made fun of other rappers who’ve gone broke.
