She was told to put more clothes on by a farmer in 2011 – when she turned up topless on his land to film a music video.
And is seems Rihanna’s care free attitude and decision to do what she wants when she wants has landed her in a bit of trouble again.
This time she was fully clothed, yeah – shock horror, but sparked outrage when she posted pictures of herself on Instagram posing at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in UAE.
The controversial singer was dressed head-to-toe in black and complied to the mosque’s guidelines by covering her hair.
But not content with the lack of pizazz, she sexed up her look with crimson lippy, painted nails and a pout that would make a bloke’s heart skip a beat.
Her actions have been slammed as being “disrespectful” for a place of worship and it’s reported to have violated rules on the “status and sanctity of the mosque."
One person wrote on Twitter: “I love Rihanna but then posing so seductively in front of the mosque is so disrespectful.”

Another added: “Rihanna pics at Sheikh Zayed mosque are disrespectful to the place of worship.”
While someone writing under the alias of @BinttAlthee tweeted: “Rihanna modelling in the Sheikh Zayed mosque is just plain wrong. Who let her in?”
A statement issued by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre to The National said: “The Centre strives to ensure that visitors enter the mosque in a decent fashion, and refrain from behaving in any way that is inconsistent with the sanctity of this religious place.
“Here, the Centre refers to a recent incident, involving a singer who came for a private visit to the mosque, at a gate that is not reserved for visitors, without prior coordination with the Centre’s management and without identifying herself.
“She was directed by visitor services to proceed to the visitors’ main gate and take the guided tour, according to procedure.
"She left without entering the mosque, after being asked to do so, due to the fact that she had taken some pictures that do not conform with the conditions and regulations put in place by the Centre’s management to regulate visits in a way that takes the status and sanctity of the mosque into consideration.”

'Naughtiest ever' boy aged just FIVE kicked out of school - but mum says it's his ADHD and autism

He was expelled over what a council called a “number of very serious incidents” - including pushing another boy into a bookcase

An angelic-looking five-year-old has been kicked out of school – after allegedly being branded the “naughtiest” boy his headteacher had ever met.
Harry Reid was expelled over what a council called a “number of very serious incidents” - including pushing another boy into a bookcase.
But Harry’s worried mum said she feared he had already been written off and claimed her pleas for extra support had been ignored.
Debbie Reid, 34, said a letter from his doctors explaining Harry was on the autistic and ADHD spectrum was disregarded.
“He watches his little sister getting ready for school and is so frustrated he can’t go,” she said.
“He told me: ‘I don’t have any friends anymore, all of my days are ruined’.
“He’s been out of school for two weeks now and he’s only had seven pieces of work sent home. It’s disgusting.
“They’ve kicked him out and given up on him.
“He is a really caring, loving child. But the headteacher told me he was the naughtiest boy she had ever met.”

Debbie, a bookies cashier from Hall Green in Birmingham, admitted Harry had also thrown items around the classroom and kicked out at other children.
However, she added: “It is just his condition. He gets frustrated in social situations sometimes but the school should have had a system in place to deal with him.”
Harry is due for an assessment on November 6 to find out where he places on the autism spectrum and ADHD scale.
Council chiefs are working to find Harry a place at another school but Debbie said she feared his behaviour would worsen elsewhere.
She wants him to return to nearby St Ambrose Barlow Catholic School.

A council spokesman said: “The decision to exclude a child from school is not taken lightly and is only ever an absolute last resort.
“The school has done everything they could to support the child; however, there have been a number of very serious incidents and the welfare of this child has to be balanced with that of fellow pupils and staff.
“We are now working with all parties to find the most appropriate environment that will meet the future needs of the child.”

A Chinese couple faces criminal charges for allegedly selling their baby daughter to buy a new iPhone and make other purchases.

Citing Shanghai’s Jiefang Daily newspaper, the Telegraph writes that Shanghai prosecutors have charged the couple with human trafficking. They couple allegedly put their child up for adoption online.

According to reports, the couple used the funds (between $4,900 and $8,000, according to ABC News) to go on a shopping spree. Alleged purchases include an iPhone and expensive athletic shoes.

The couple, identified as Mr. Teng and Ms. Zhang in Chinese reports, reportedly defended their actions, citing a desire for their baby to have a more stable future.

"We did not send the baby off for a profit, but to give the child a better life of security," they were quoted as saying to the Jiefang Daily.

However, according to reports, law enforcement officials believe the couple knowingly deceived neighbors to keep the pregnancy secret.
Via the Telegraph:
Prosecutors also allege that the couple attempted to disguise Ms Zhang’s pregnancy in order to hide their crime. In order to explain her bump, neighbors were told she was suffering from a tumor.
Law enforcement officials say that shortly after the home birth, the couple, who have two other children, began shopping, according to reports.

Sydney: Opera House celebrates 40 years

A giant birthday cup cake is displayed on the steps of the Sydney Opera House as the world heritage-listed building celebrates its 40th birthday, on October 20, 2013

The Sydney Opera House, world heritage-listed as "one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity", celebrated its 40th birthday Sunday with a flotilla of lifesavers, Aboriginal dancers and a gigantic cupcake.

Huge crowds packed the steps for a distinctively Australian performance on the glittering harbourfront, where three generations of Danish architect Jorn Utzon's family were the guests of honour.
It was a postcard-perfect day beneath the same cloudless blue skies that inspired Utzon's winning design to build Sydney an opera house back in 1956 -- the white sails drawn from his childhood in the Aalborg shipyards.
"A building like this happens once in a lifetime," Utzon's son Jan told revellers on Sunday.
"It is a unique Australian expression of will and enthusiasm and 'let's go do it' kind of spirit."
A crew of surf lifesavers wearing their famous yellow-and-red caps and costumes arrived at the Opera House's Man O' War steps on one of Sydney's distinctive ferries, flanked by six of the association's dinghies and two tugboats.
They were met and led up the red-carpeted steps by Aboriginal dancers where a traditional smoking ceremony was held to spiritually cleanse the site accompanied by an indigenous dance ritual and didgeridoo.
A giant cupcake topped with a model of the Opera House made from icing was carried onto the stage by the lifesavers, and Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes -- frontman of Cold Chisel -- led a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday accompanied by a navy brass band and school choir.
An Airbus A340 made a low pass over the site to cap celebrations.
The distinctive performance hall is one of Australia's best-known landmarks and centrepiece of Sydney's cultural scene, hosting some 2,000 shows every year and attracting 8.2 million visitors.
"As the most internationally recognisable symbol of both Sydney and Australia, it has become our calling card to the world," said Governor of New South Wales, Marie Bashir.
Opera House chief Louise Herron said the huge crowds were a reminder "that the Opera House is, above all, the people's palace."
Utzon won an international design contest to build the harbour city an opera house in 1956 that attracted 233 entries from 28 countries, despite being relatively unknown in the architecture world.
His ambitious blueprint, drafted from photos and maps without ever having visited the harbour site, took 14 years and Aus$102 million to complete, funded by a state lottery.
It was one of the most difficult engineering feats ever attempted at the time, with Utzon envisaging a chamber with vaulted roofs unsupported by pillars or columns.
Custom-built French cranes were used to piece together the iconic sails segment by segment in mid-air, with pre-cast concrete ribs interlocking in an intricate jigsaw.
Some 1,056,006 individual tiles coat the exterior, custom-made from clay and stone. Utzon was inspired by Japanese ceramic bowls, imagining their pale matte finish would perfectly offset the blue of Sydney's harbour and sky.
Protesters have scaled the building's shell to unfurl banners about climate change and other causes, with one group painting "No War" in five-metre red letters on its uppermost sail in a 2003 demonstration against the US invasion of Iraq.
The Opera House was listed a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2007, the year before Utzon died.

Americans warm to online dating, survey shows

Washington (AFP) - Americans are growing more comfortable with online dating, and many are finding a spouse or partner in cyberspace, a survey showed Monday.
The Pew Research Center found 11 percent of Internet users -- or some nine percent of all American adults -- said they have personally used an online dating site.
That is a sharp increase from 2008, when just three percent of American adults had used online dating sites, Pew said.
The survey found 66 percent of those who use online sites or apps have gone on a date with someone they met through one of these services.
And 23 percent of online daters have married or begun a long-term relationship with someone they met through a dating site or app, Pew found.
Pew researchers said Americans' attitudes about online dating have dramatically changed since it first began studying the subject in 2005.
“When we conducted our first study of dating and relationships in the digital era just under a decade ago, the public had little exposure to online dating, and most viewed people who went online to meet potential romantic partners with a healthy dose of skepticism,” said Aaron Smith, main author of the report.
"And although some of that skepticism remains, online dating has become much more culturally accepted in recent years. Americans are now much more likely to count an online dater among their friends and family, and a majority view online dating as a good way to meet potential partners -- one that in some ways is superior to traditional ways of meeting people."
The survey found 59 percent of Internet users agreed with the statement that “online dating is a good way to meet people,” compared with 44 percent in 2005.
And 53 percent of the group agreed that “online dating allows people to find a better match for themselves because they can get to know a lot more people,” up from 47 percent in 2005.
Pew found 21 percent of Internet users claimed that people who use online dating sites are "desperate,” down from 29 percent in 2005.
Around one in three, or 32 percent of online adults, said online dating keeps people from settling down by giving them more options to meet people. This is the first time Pew asked this question.
A number of respondents related negative experiences with online dating: 54 percent of those who used online services said they met at least one person who was "seriously misrepresented" and 28 percent said they felt harassed or uncomfortable by someone using online dating services.
The survey also found online daters going mobile: seven percent of cell phone apps users, or roughly three percent of all American adults, said they have used a dating app on their phone.
The survey highlights the growing role of the Internet in all aspects of Americans' lives. It found the proportion of Americans who say that they met their current partner online has doubled in the last eight years to six percent of Internet users, up from three percent in 2005 the last decade, 11 percent said that their spouse or partner is someone they met online, the Pew researchers said.
The Pew survey generally supports the findings of a study published in June by University of Chicago researchers, which found more than one-third of US marriages between 2005 and 2012 began with online dating.
That study published in June in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences also found couples who meet online may be slightly happier than couples who meet through other means.
However, some experts took issue with the findings because the survey was commissioned by eHarmony.com, the dating site that attracted one quarter of all online marriages according to the research.
The Pew report was based on a phone survey of 2,252 adults between April 17 and May 19. The margin of error for the full sample is estimated at 2.3 percentage points.
