The new royal baby, who has not yet made a public appearance with his mother, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge,  stands to inherit $1 billion, based on an estimate of how much his royal family is worth, according to Wealth-X.
Of the family of the yet unnamed royal baby, Queen Elizabeth II is worth the most at $660 million, Wealth-X, a firm that researches ultra-high net worth individuals, estimates. Prince Charles is worth an estimated $370 million, Prince William is worth an estimated $20 million, while his brother Harry is estimated to have $16 million.
Wealth-X’s figures do not include the possible inheritance of the Crown Jewels and the Royal Collection. The queen’s income in 2014 is expected to rise by 15 percent to nearly $58 million after the Crown Estate reported an increase in profit in June.

PAEDOPHILIA IS NOW LEGAL!

“This new law will proscribe the 18 year old rule for any Nigerian child to qualify to engage in conscious agreement of marriage. The Senate claimed that a woman is deemed to be full of age once she is married irrespective of her age ” Page 8,The Guardian , Thursday,  July 18, 2013.
For the very first time in my life I am thoroughly ashamed to be a Nigerian! Nothing before this had made me want to hide or  change the despised green passport but our SENATORS have succeeded where decades of corrupt leaders have failed! Where the scourge of Boko Haram and the siege of armed robbery and police brutality and directionless leadership have failed! In the sheer indecency and the abdication of the dictates of conscience the highest law making house in Nigeria has succeeded in making the blood curdle in the veins of every mammal in our sovereign nation !
I say MAMMALS because even the animals mourn this dastardly decision! Why? The animals are saying that even THEY wait for their young to mature before cohabiting with them! The dogs who are the most maligned declined to be compared to those who voted “yea” on thus law! For though their reputation is the lowest in the animal kingdom the dogs are protesting that THEY can at least exercise the decency and patience to let their OWN young  grow FIRST!
Well the secret is out! There is no point wondering what the “preference” of all those who voted “yea” is ! I advise that security guards should be posted at all hospital nurseries immediately because we really don’t know how “fresh” these  paedophiles will want their child brides to be.
Its not all bad news you know? With this decision NIGERIA has finally arrived as a tourist destination. Move over Phillipines! Make way for Nigeria the new giant of the child sex tourism industry! As i posted on tweeter earlier today the announcement should say “Paedophilia now legal in Nigeria! calling all global felons! Day old girls available! Just MARRY them once you are done! ”
Personally, I am still trying to decide who the worse felon is, the one who cohabits with children or the one who BOMBS them! Please tell me untold generations of unborn Nigerian females have not been consigned to a fate worse than death  just so some pervert somewhere can carry on with his 13 year old “bride”? . I have news for all the other  pervs out there ! NEWS FLASH -13 year olds grow, and guess what they grow into?  Yes, they grow to look exactly like those 30, 40 year old old models that you had to practically rob the cradle to “trade In” for their daughters” !
Finally , we must face the gaping chasm of our religious and ethnic differences , this is the unspoken foundation of the calm and the marriage plans that are in full swing in one part of the nation as the outrage boils over into paroxysm on the other! While the giants of tweeter from across the Niger are deathly silent as those with ZERO followers in the south are churning out tomes on the law! This may be the first instance where we MUST accept the fact that it is high time we function as a true federation in EVERY sense of the word. What is the way forward ? STATE by STATE we MUST decide what is best for us . Every state where the men and women folk are nauseated by the very inkling of this nefarious and  ill advised law should proceed to agitate their state assemblies until  child and under age marriages are recognized as illegal and criminal acts. Now where is the Nigerian chapter of FIDA? ( International Federation of Female Lawyers) we need you NOW!
Today is  the nadir of our commonwealth! The graveyard of innocence! The abdication of parenthood ,the day we break covenant with our daughters yet unborn! Today we have become the cesspool of all nations!Nigeria! Paedoplilic giant that defiles its young!

Nigeria: ASUU Strike - Student Activists Berate FG, Throw Weight Behind Strike

Osogbo — Former Student Union leaders of Obafemi Awolowo University OAU, Ile-Ife have condemned what they describe as the insensitiveness of the federal government to the 2009 agreement it entered with the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU.
The student Unionists also threw their weight behind the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by their teachers.
Rising from a meeting held at the Awolowo Hall Café of the institution, the student activists including former officers of the Students' Union Government of OAU urged the federal government to identify with the plights of the striking workers and fully implement the agreement it entered with them.
Besides, the student activists accused the national secretariat of National Association of Nigerian Students NANS of nonchalant attitude towards the ongoing strike and therefore called on the national students' body to democratically take active position in support of the ongoing strike.
In the communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, Monday when the student activists visited the Correspondents' Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State chapter during a protest to drove home their positions. They also called for the immediate reinstatement of all proscribed students' unions by the management of the institution.
"We support the demands of ASUU for proper funding of education and appropriate welfare conditions of its members. As major stakeholders in the university system, having considered our day to day plight as students, we conclude that we are bereaved that ASUU as a union is only assisting us to seek a permanent solution.
"The avalanches of problem in the universities are rooted in callous underfunding. Our politicians spend the bulk of our budget every year to enrich themselves and loot the rest, yet education, a key sector of the economy is given a meager 8.6% in budgetary percentage. Meanwhile, the steps ASUU is currently taking are steps which the national student movement in its hay days would have taken before the academic staff," the communiqué read.
The inscriptions on placards displayed by the students during the protest read: "No To Incessant Ban on Students' Unions; Reinstate OAU Union now; OAU Students Demand the Immediate Removal of Prof. Wale Omole as LAUTECH Pro-Chancellor; Prof. Wale Omole should be executed not elevated; Education is a Right, not a priviledge.
