Kenya: Namibian Dillish Wins BBA - the Chase
By Grace Kerongo,
NAMIBIA'S Dillish Matthews won the eighth season of the television reality show Big Brother Africa "The Chase" on Sunday night.
After spending 91 days in Biggie's house, the charming lady who was labelled an underdog and a spoilt princess, has, however, made history. Dillish did her best to stay out of trouble throughout her time in the house.
The Nambian beauty beat four other finalists - Elikem, Cleo, Melvin and Beverly - to win the US$300,000 (Sh26.1 million) grand prize. The live finale also saw exciting performances from Ice Prince, Keko, R2Bees and DJ Ganyani.
Windhoek-born Dillish is a third year Psychology student with a passion for seafood. She describes herself as "caring, fun, troublesome, loving and adventurous".
Dillish says her best quality is the fact that she's "very real and straightforward". She values caring and considerate people and dislikes those who are selfish and lazy.
