Lumia 625: Bigger, better, faster

LOOKING for an affordable smartphone that can ride on the fast LTE (Long Term Evolution) network for better surfing speeds and video streaming?

Then Nokia’s Lumia 625 might just fit the bill — this Windows Phone 8 model costs just RM939 and supports both LTE bands, namely 1800 and 2600.

The smartphone has a large 4.7in screen which should make watching videos, surfing the Web and viewing photos a pleasant experience.

It has a 5-megapixel camera and the Smart Camera app allows users to capture and edit pictures with options like Best Shot, Action Shot and Motion Focus.

For storing photos, videos and apps it comes with 8GB of space. Users can add more via its microSD slot which supports up to 64GB or utilise Microsoft’s SkyDrive cloud storage space which offers 7GB.

The Lumia 625 will be available in five vibrant colours including orange, green, yellow, white and black.
