Based on whats going on right now,it seems like Ronaldo will still remain in Madrid, unless these clubs are ready to pay if not, the,PREMIER LEAGUE rivals Chelsea and Manchester United could be frustrated by Cristiano Ronaldo’s £789m buyout clause.
This is because,Ronaldo is reportedly considering his Real Madrid future after criticising the club board for their summer recruitment and a move back to the Premier League has been mooted.
However, the Champions League winners are likely to dig their heels in to keep their star player.
If they refuse to sell for any price then Chelsea and Manchester United would have to meet the Portuguese superstar’s enormous £789m (€1bn) buyout clause, which is highly unlikely.
It is on this note that,Former Manchester City defender Danny Mills believes Louis van Gaal should not rush into a deal to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.
Saying“Manchester United have proved they have got an awful amount of cash and spent a lot of money,” he told Sky Sports.
“How much is it going to cost to buy Cristiano Ronaldo? And then pay his wages.
Adding that,“He is approaching 30. So how many years are you going to get out of him at that very top level? Is he going to be as good as he was?
“Yes, he is fantastic player, but does it make brilliant business sense?
“Surely it would be better to go for a player who is up and coming, with a bit more potential and a younger version [of Ronaldo].”
...do you agree with any of these?...otherwise,lets have your view on this!...
