Nick Cannon aims to keep the peace with Mariah Carey ...amid rumors of divorce!!!

It was reported that their divorce proceedings has started to get ugly.
But Nick Cannon is singing a different tune—that he and Mariah Carey are making peace over the holidays for the sake of their children.
‘We'll forever be family,’ he said Monday in an interview on Good Morning America
The 34-year-old, who has three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with the superstar singer, made the comments as he was promoting his new children's book Roc and Roe's Twelve Days Of Christmas, inspired by his experiences with Mariah, his son and daughter during the holidays.
When interviewer Lara Spencer asked him to share his plans for Christmas this year, Nick said that he's keen to keep up the family's traditions.

Christmas Eve we like to have sleigh rides and reindeer....the TV personality revealed. 'It's a lot of fun. So when you read the book, everything seems over the top, but it really happens.'
Last week it emerged that negotiations on their split have become fierce, with Mariah arguing over property and custody of the twins, reports People. 
source revealed. 'They communicate because of the kids.'
The source added: 'She's trying to keep it together. She's focused on caring for her children and her upcoming five sold-out Christmas engagements in New York.'
Early today Tuesday 9/12/2014, it was reported that the singer late for the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree taping because she was taking a phone call about the divorce.
'She was on the phone for probably close to five hours straight with lawyers,' a source revealed to People.
At the center of their dispute is a reported $5 million jet, and luxury homes and cars! 
In October, Nick defended speaking openly about his marital woes in an interview with E! News where he said...
'That was a lot of people's advice, "Lay low." Being a public figure, of course you don't ever want to deal with your personal life in the public, but I'm the type of dude I deal with everything head-on,' he said.
'I'm not a hider, I never hold punches, hold my tongue. I'm as candid as I can possibly be, but I try and be as respectful, as classy and the best human being I possibly can be.'
The couple wed in 2008 and split in 2014.
