Vlogging star Zoella accused of using a ghostwriter for record-breaking debut that sold more than 78,000?

Rumours spread that Zoella's Girl Online, which sold 78,109 copies in a week, had been ghostwritten, and now publishers have admitted that the tween-idol 'did not write the book on her own.' Girl Online's acknowledgements thanks 'everyone at Penguin for helping me put together my first novel, especially Amy Alward and Siobhan Curham, who were with me every step of the way.' The former, Ms Alward, is Zoella's editor, the latter, Siobham Curham, is a freelance writer and the author of several young adult novels.
