The incident which occurred at about few minutes past 10pm sent panic among residents who feared the Boko Haram terrorist group might have invaded the area.
While the first one was said to have gone off at the Police Station near First Bank and another one was said to have gone off just few minutes after the first in another location close to the main market in the Area council.
It was not immediately possible to get the reaction of the police. Spokesman of the FCT Police Command, Anjuguri Manza could not be reached.
