As paytv market competition continues to witness marketing strategies among its operators to attract more customers, the jungles among them has become matured within a space of time and the momentum gathered seems to be accelerating higher than ever!...the actual truth about this is that, operators like DSTV,GOTV,STRONG etc are the proverbial under dog but Startimes seems to be catching up on the giant  with them in recent times, like GoTv which derives its edge from its parent company (Multi choice) and big sister DSTV.
But as it stands, it seems that the proverbial under dog in this case is beginning to gather momentum and giving the latter a run for its money
For example, in terms of visual quality and reach, Startimes new range of HD decoders now give a commendable visual quality which can stand its own beside what GoTv and its sister brand DSTV prides in while its reach has steadily improved and increased over time. These hitherto has been the concern of subscribers and would be subscribers.

Also in terms of pricing, Startimes still towers high above GoTv with its friendly pricing packages which includes the Nova(N600) with 26+ channels , Basic (N1200) with 40+ channels, Classic (N2400) with 60+ channels and Unique (N3600) with 80+ channels available as against GoTv’s N1200 bouquet which formerly sold for N1000 (26 channels ) and N1500 (40 channels).
In terms of the quality of output, quite a number of people would agree that before now, Startimes looked like a century back but they have steadily risen up to the challenge and upped their game. This might be the reason for the recent wave of promos initiated by GoTv with the aim of increasing their popularity within the Nigerian populace. But according to what we saw recently, startimes is currently running a fresh promo as well.

for those who might have used the two What do you think about these two providers and their quality of service, content, and network strength. Do make your opinion known by using the comment form below for the benefit of those who would love to get one this season.....thanks for the come-by.
