JEDDAH: Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of
defense, received at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on
Thursday the president of Syrian National Coalition Ahmed Aowainan
Al-Jarba and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Al-Jarba briefed Salman on the sufferings of the Syrian people from the atrocities of the Assad regime.
Salman stressed the Kingdom's firm stance of the need to put an end to all kinds of genocide and starvation suffered by the Syrian people.
The audience was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, chief of the Crown Prince's Court and special adviser.
Saudi Arabia had been providing humanitarian assistance to the tens of thousands of Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.
