David Beckham has told how his new life after football is about taking his children to school and perfecting his signature dish, Milanese risotto with saffron
Retirement for Beckham means he has more time to dedicate to the routine of
being a dad, including sharing bacon sandwiches with his youngest child,
Harper, as he takes her to playschool.
It also gives him the chance to perfect his skills in the kitchen, and his
family’s favourite dish of his repertoire - Milanese risotto with saffron.
Beckham says while retiring from football was difficult, and gives him “a pang

with his children
He admits he does the majority of cooking at home, using the skills he learnt
from a six month culinary course he took while living in Italy and playing
for AC Milan.
