Rihanna has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man who allegedly broke into her Los Angeles home last month.
The 25-year-old Barbadian beauty’s Los
Angeles home was allegedly invaded by Jonathan Whooper twice since the
end of September, 2013.
Whooper was taken into custody after
police officers identified him as the suspect who threw a chair through a
glass door at the star’s Pacific Palisades home.
According to TMZ, a judge “issued a
temporary restraining order against Whooper, ordering him to stay at
least 100 yards away” from Rihanna’s residence after he was taken into
custody on October 4, 2013.
TMZ reports that Whooper caused mass destruction on Rihanna’s mansion before his arrest.
“Whooper made multiple trips to the
home. During the incident on the 29th [of September], cops say he broke
into the home, triggering the alarm,” the website writes.
“When he couldn’t disarm the system, he decided to leave… but not before breaking a glass patio table.”
Whooper returned just a few days later,
but he was confronted by security before he could cause further damage,
according to the website.
When questioned about why he was at Rihanna’s residence, Whooper supposedly told guards he was Rihanna’s “future husband”.
According to court documents obtained by
TMZ, Rihanna claimed she was suffering “substantial emotional distress
and concern for her personal safety” following the incidents.
Whooper has been charged with attempted burglary, vandalism, stalking, prowling and felony.read more....
