The Big C, watch Transparent
Though some may say The Big C was about confronting death, those who loved the show will counter that it was also about a woman's quest to live an authentic life, as is this dark comedy starring Jeffrey Tambor as a father who decides to live as a female full time. It's also sharply written, brilliantly acted, and at times heartbreaking. (All 10 episodes premiere Sept. 26 on Amazon)
