This is Jaylen Fryberg, the popular 15-year-old freshman who today opened fire in the cafeteria of Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, about 35 miles from Seattle. A hunting enthusiast, he is pictured, left, being crowned as homecoming prince and, top right, posing with a rifle, not long before he shot dead a classmate and injured four other people before turning the gun on himself. His tweets had become increasingly ominous in the months leading up to his bloody tirade. Recently he tweeted: 'Your gonna piss me off... And then some s*** gonna go down and I don't think you'll like it...'. Four of the victims have been airlifted to a hospital, reports claim, as hundreds of children and parents were thrown into a state of panic. Last night, hundreds of pupils crammed into the Grove Church, around the corner from the school, for a candlelit vigil, pictured bottom right. The crowds wept as teachers and pastors gave speeches urging them to 'stay strong'.
