Covenant University Resumes for Omega Semester

One thing that make Covenant a unique place for anyone pursuing higher degree among others is the speed at which the institution runs its academic calendar! comparing to both federal and other public and private institution in Nigeria,Covenant remains the faster one,The institution which finally shut down for 2014/2015 academic session has once again declared January 4th 2015 as its resumption day...Throwing more lights on this was The Registrar Dr Olumuyiwa during the last Friday Faculty Fellowship FFF for the year wherein he categorically stated
that Omega Semester would commence on Sunday January 4th while academic activities like lectures and normal school works follows immediately on Monday januarythe 5th

The Meeting which began 3pm Nigeria Time was kickstarted by Pastor Ekhaese and followed immediately with praise and worship by Mrs Joel while the testimony of God's goodness over the lives of the faculty and staff was anchored by Pastor Williams Ayara before the coming of The Registrar who in a unique manner led the whole staff as they gladly chorus Christmas and New year song in he spirit of Unity at the African Leadeship Development Centre (ALDC)

Addressing the staff on the Hebron community as it is known in Canaanland, the Registrar expressed his great appreciation to the faculty and staff for the jobs well done but sensitized for more especially the Vision 1 of 10 in 10 verdict.Dr Muyiwa also made an announcement for all the students who missed the alpha semester exam due to illness or other related cause should notify the school authority on or before December 30th 2014 so that action could be taken on that as soon as possible,He made this clear after the senate meeting which declared the 2014/2015 examination result approved and satisfactory;on that note students are adviced to meet with the bodies incharge for the necesaary action

According to Pastor Ntia He said and i Quote "Don't pursue prophecy, pursue God because He is the one that fulfills prophecy...he also warned members to deviate from the habit of mocking anything prophetic as he clearly outlined some of the dangers attached to it,he took his bible reading from 2 Kings 7:1,1 Kings 8:24 as well as Isaiah 7:14,then Matthew 1:23 where he explained the reason for Christmas...
