Here's a rare fashion style misstep by some of your favourite celebs as Lupita leads the SAG Awards' worst-dressed

If you're a regular follower of this black queen, you'd agree with me that, Usually Lupita Nyong'o can do no wrong when it comes to the red carpet. But at the SAG Awards this evening, her Elie Saab gown earned her a place on our worst-dressed list for the first time.
The stunning 12 Years a Slave star was drowned by the gown's long sleeves and full skirt, while the print - black stripes over a digital floral motif - was overwhelming. The result was that the dress wore her, rather than the other way around.
And Lupita was not the only one. While most of the stars in attendance played it safe, not all of the fashion risks paid off. Case in point: Rashida the rest of the story in pictures as follows

A rare fashion fail: Lupita Nyong'o's bold Elie Saab gown drowned her with its long sleeves and full skirt, while the print - black stripes over a digital floral motif - was overwhelming

A risk too far: Rashida Jones in Emanuel Ungaro (left) and Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael in Thakoon (right)

Here,The hue of Charissa Thompson's ultra figure-hugging gown reminds us of a popular over-the-counter stomach medicine

When bad dresses happen to good people: Lorelei Linklater's Honor dress would have been lovely without the waitressy white lace

Cheap-looking: While the Michael Costello dress worn by Orange is the New Black's Dascha Polanco made the most of her hourglass curves, the white lace fabric robbed her of her look's intended sophistication

Falling short of the fashion mark: Rebecca Gayheart's gray-blue wrap dress failed to do her justice (left) while the bizarre white-silver-burgundy color combination of Anna Chlumsky's custom Escada gown failed to win her any style points (right)

Prom dresses: Actress Emma Myles's fuchsia pink gown was far too shiny (left) while the puffy, hippy skirt of Julianna Margulies' Giambattista Valli gown (right) let down her whole look. The slit seemed to be in an odd position too
