we thought there's gender equality.....
Jade Hatt (second from left), a 21-year-old babysitter who dodged jail despite seducing an 11-year-old boy, is just the latest in a string of cases whereby female sex abusers are met with a risible lack of justice, writes JENNI MURRAY. Mary-Ellen Mooney (centre), another babysitter, admitted manipulating a 13-year-old into sexual activity, while teaching assistants Caroline Berriman, 30, (right) and Helen Turnbull, 35, (second from right) both admitted to inappropriate activity with their pupils. Caroline Parker, 32 (left), a third teaching assistant, had a two-year affair with one of the young men in her care. But it is hard to imagine men in their positions being treated so gently by the law..so we gotta ask....is there something as favoritism in law when it comes to women?
