The museum collection comprises hundreds of showpieces from almost all regions of Ukraine
Roksoliana Shymchuk, Ukrainian ethno collector and craftswoman of female accessories, launched her own museum with a collection of hundreds of garments.
She has been collecting her authentic Ukrainian clothing since 1989, in particular, the national costumes presented in the museum have been collected from all over Ukraine.

During the inauguration of Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko, his wife Maryna was garmented with a bead necklace of yellow pearl made by Roksoliana Shymchuk.
