Dr. Dre dreams of carrying out a "Beats & Rhymes" tour in Europe with Snoop, Eminem, and Kendrick.
Snoop Dogg guested on Dr. Dre's Beats 1 radio show "The Pharmacy" last night (Oct. 10), and as the legendary duo reminisced about their classic collaborations, Dre spoke of a wild concoction that he wants to employ in the future. And with that,European hip-hop heads will be happy to know that one of Dre's future dreams is to take a full live show to Europe and bring his most renowned collaborators with him -- Snoop, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar.
"This is one of the things that I dreamed about doing. I want to call it Beats & Rhymes. I want it to be me and Snoop Dre said..
. I want it to be Eminem. I want it to be Kendrick Lamar. Do a tour over in Europe and call it Beats & Rhymes and take our full production over there and take our full stage over there and really go over there and show Europe the same amount of love that they been showing me throughout my entire career. So, that’s my dream. Hopefully we can make that happen."
As Dre was explaining his "Beats & Rhymes" tour, Snoop quickly interjected and suggested an improved title for the spectacle: "Your dream sounds like Woodstock on steroids. Let's call it Hoodstock."
We won't put anything past Dr. Dre, but if he isn't able to haul the full show over to Europe, we'd be more than happy with our own Hoodstock. Think Dre will bring this pipe dream to life?
