Lamar Odom is back in Los Angeles, where he's recovering after being found unconscious at a legal Nevada brothel last week.
On Monday, the 35-year-old was discharged from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas — where he had received most of his treatment — and transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA.1
Now, a source is revealing just why the basketball star's estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian, wanted her ex to be moved to the southern California facility, saying
:
"Khloé wants Lamar to get the best medical treatment possible."
Since the 31-year-old and the ball player are still technically married, it appears as though the reality TV personality has been calling the shots when it comes to the NBA forward's medical care.4
She had also proven her dedication to her former flame by rushing out to Sin City to be by his side, where she's stayed ever since.1
Considering the father-of-two is reportedly suffering from kidney failure, and might even need a transplant, an insider believes Khloé made the right decision by transporting him to the Beverly Hills hospital, adding:1
"For someone with heart problems, there is really no better cardiology team in the country than the Cedars team. Cedars has put together the best team possible."
That's reassuring, especially because Lamar has supposedly struggled with a series of complications since he was discovered unresponsive at Love Ranch in Nevada.
We're just glad that the ailing athlete is in good hands and seems to be slowly improving.
