A fashion hat trick!
She has been credited with adding a splash of glamour to Chinese politics and Peng Liyuan, the wife of president Xi Jinping, certainly upped the style stakes with three sophisticated ensembles on day one of her visit. The first lady wore an elegant white skirt suit teamed with black patent heels for the first event of the couple's four-day visit (left); she changed into a sage green coat and pussy bow blouse in Parliament (centre); and she crowned the day's outfits with a midnight blue, floor-length gown for the state banquet at Buckingham Palace (left).
