New York woman sues 12-year-old nephew For $127,000 over hug that broke her wrist

Frivolous lawsuits brought about by vexatious litigants have given the U.S. legal system a black eye for decades. However they are for the most part done by individuals against large corporations who have an army of lawyers and are covered by several forms of insurance. However Sean Tarala, doesn’t have an army of defense lawyers and several forms of insurance, and he shouldn’t because he’s just 12-years-old. However that hasn’t prevented his own aunt from suing him for an exorbitant amount of money from an act of love.

Jennifer Connell is a 54-year-old human resources manager from Manhattan. The New York Daily News reports that she is suing her nephew because he broke her wrist by jumping to hug her at his eighth birthday party.
On March 18, 2011, Connell arrived at Tarala residence in Westport, Connecticut. Sean saw his aunt and immediately stopped what he was doing and ran to her shouting, “Auntie Jen! Auntie Jen! Auntie Jen I love you!”
The leaping love hug by the 50-pound boy caused Jennifer’s wrist to break when both fell on the ground and she is seeking $127,000 from her nephew, who is now 12-years-old.
During her testimony, Connell said Sean had always been “very loving, sensitive,” toward her, but she still feels the pre-teen is responsible for her injury.
YUCK!
“The injuries, losses and harms to the plaintiff were caused by the negligence and carelessness of the minor defendant in that a reasonable eight year old under those circumstances would know or should have known that a forceful greeting such as the one delivered by the defendant to the plaintiff could cause the harms and losses suffered by the plaintiff,” the lawsuit claims.
UGHHH!

Connell said her life has not been the same since the hug.
“I live in Manhattan in a third-floor walkup so it has been very difficult,” Connell testified Friday at Connecticut Superior Court in Bridgeport. “And we all know how crowded it is in Manhattan.”
How the fuck does a broken wrist affect how she walks up stairs?
Oh.
But the trauma of walking up stairs with an injured wrist doesn’t stop there. Listen to the torture that this poor and unfortunate woman had to endure.
“I was at a party recently and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvres plate,” she added. We can all empathize with this hapless soul, I mean can you imagine trying to eat a crab rangoon with one hand!?!? Or heaven forbid, a grilled shrimp skewer! The horror!
The selfishness of this psychopath gets even worse, if that’s possible. She is suing the 12-year-old a year after his mother died.
And you thought you hated your relatives.
