one Pilot died as Nigerian Air force plane crashes in Hong


 A Nigerian military plane is said to have  crashed in Yola, capital of North-east Adamawa state, killing the pilot.Nigerian Air Force (NAF) spokesperson Dele Alonge said in a statement Saturday night that the aircraft crashed at about 4:23 p.m. (local time) due to bad weather.Alonge, an Air Commodore, said the Chinese-made F7-Ni fighter jet, with registration number NAF801, was ''returning to base from an interdicted mission when it crashed around Hong, in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State
’'.
“There was no survival as the pilot of the aircraft lost his life in the unfortunate incident,” Alonge said.
It was the second crash in as many months of a NAF plane, following the crash of a Dornier-228 aircraft in the northern city of Kaduna 29 Aug.
NAF planes are fully involved in the ongoing battle against the insurgent group Boko
