Young Money’s Drake can focus on music-making again thanks to a judge who dismissed a film distributor’s libel claims against him over a flick called Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage.
According to reports, the judge reached its decision this week
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Barbara Scheper heard arguments from attorneys on Sept. 17 on a motion by Drake’s attorney’s to throw out the lawsuit filed by plaintiff SpectiCast on free-speech grounds, then took the case under submission before issuing her ruling Tuesday. During the hearing, Scheper asked SpectiCast attorney Todd Bonder why the company did not seek more involvement from the “Best I Ever Had” singer before the film’s March release. (My News LA)
